Kanasana Jinja (shrine)

Kanasana Jinja is historical shrine with brilliant red building.
"Honjo Matsuri(festival)" in November is an annual festival of this shrine.

Honjo City Museum of History and Folklore

You can see famous ancient clay figures ; "laughing haniwa".
It also has a gate which reminds us that Honjo was the biggest post-station town of famous road called "Nakasendo".

HONJO WASEDA RESEARCH PARK

HONJO WASEDA RESEARCH PARK is a facility mainly of Waseda University.
It has research institutions and sometimes it organizes events for local people.

Anyo-in (temple)

Anyo-in is a historical temple and it has lots of literary monuments such as haiku of Basho.
